The total refurbishment of Ramada Glasgow City has started and will continue until July 2007 in three stages. Underway is the redevelopment of the lower ground event suite. The Buchanan, and all ground floor Summit rooms. This phase of the work will be completed by Easter 2007 and will include new toilets, bar and event room. On completion of the first stage we begin to develop the ground floor of the hotel. . . Part three of the development includes each and every bedroom. The total refurbishment of 91 bedrooms, 44 bathrooms, corridors, lifts and stairs. The work is due to start in January 2007 for completion in May with works completed floor by floor, minimising disruption. The hotel will have no event capacity between now and July 2007 with little restaurant capacity between 1st December 2006 and 1st January 2007 as Christmas Parties will be hosted in this venue.. . *** Please note that the Ramada Plaza Bristol leisure club will be closed from the 2nd January 07 to the 17th January 07 due to refurbishment. ***
